“For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” - Romans 10:13-14

For the past two thousand years, people have come to know and believe in Jesus via the spoken word of others. Today, this truth continues to ring true. But the awesome thing about this time in the history of the world is that the Gospel message can more easily get to the ears of the world due to a great rise in technology and the internet.

No longer can we rely on a tape or CD ministry to get our message into the hands of those we want to reach. Heck, the only CD player I have is in my computer, and I only use that to convert a CD into a digital format on my computer. The internet, and specifically podcasts is the current wave of audio delivery that you and your church need to focus on. By all means, don’t stop doing what you are already doing, but its time to shift your focus if you want to reach a rising generation who is hungry for truth.
